Diane is very special. She is a true design professional. Her talent and knowledge in all aspects of interior design and architecture makes her a valuable asset. Not only does she have a good eye, she also has a good ear and a great heart. Diane is a joy to work with. Diane helped us to replace our kitchen, bar and home office a few years ago. She taught us so much and the final design job was amazing, it transformed our space. To this day she will answer any questions we may have. Her continued support through some small warranty issues and one very large issue was invaluable. We so appreciate and trust her. Thank you Diane, you are the best!
From start to finish, Diane was so professional, creative, inspirational and always prompt to respond to any questions and/or concerns. Previous to meeting Diane, we had spent months looking for ‘just the right’ vinyl plank flooring, with no luck. Fortunately, we were referred to Diane, who very quickly sourced what has turned out to be ‘the perfect’ flooring. Also, her eye for paint colours is like no other! We were looking for a transformation to very modern (beachy) colours, with lots of white paint, soft pewter cabinets etc. She arranged for a painting company to do all the painting, and they even re-painted several mirror frames as well as stair railings & bannisters. Very reliable painting company, always on time, and on task for follow-up touch-ups. Wow! Thank you Diane, you have transformed our home from dark colours into one that is modern, bright, and so beautiful! We can’t thank you enough!
I am so pleased with my new spa bathroom! Diane had great recommendations and ideas on how to accomplish the vision of what I was hoping to achieve. We built a new house that was completed in 2020! We got to know Diane as she was the designer for the kitchen, bathroom, and office cabinets we were having made by Nickel’s Cabinets. She was professional, skilled, easy to discuss anything with, always available to solve any dilemma that arose, and creative.
She loves what she does and offers ideas quickly and is willing to take in more work if needed or wanted. We soon handed Diane many different aspects of our home that needed doing … finding stone for our fireplace, helping figure out wood beams and millwork design, choosing tiles, wallpaper, paint colours, lighting and flooring.
We really enjoyed working with her and she made the challenging work of building a house much easier because she took charge if we wanted/needed her to. We don’t hesitate to highly recommend her and will call upon her again!!

Wow! What a job. We hired Diane to help us design a kitchen remodel with Nickels Cabinets. We were 2000 miles away and worked with Diane over FaceTime. She did a tremendous job! Despite her having never stepped foot in our house, the kitchen remodel was a great success, and the cabinetry fits beautifully into place. Diane did a great job taking our ideas, and those of our designer, and created a wonderful kitchen. She also orchestrated the cabinetry for our family room and powder room. My husband and I have worked with Diane Moorhouse after undergoing a large renovation project. We sought her design advice regarding furniture placement, window treatments, custom designed storage needs, selecting counter top caesarstone, painting walls with feature wall colors, and she just recently hung all our paintings because my husband and I couldn’t agree how they should be hung (lol!). Let me tell you that she really knows her stuff! After the paintings were hung, we feel our home looks like a calm and beautiful space. In fact, now our new home FEELS LIKES home.
Besides being fun to work with, she has a background in both a business and architecture degree, so it is no wonder that she really knows what what she is doing. I trust Diane and wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again; it was money well spent.
Diane is an amazing designer…she really understood what I wanted in a kitchen. Our kitchen turned out amazing…she was there when needed for deliveries or consults with the installers and always answers calls or emails quickly! The cabinetry is top notch…beautiful…counters are amazing…and the timing was great… I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

With the purchase of our home we had a large renovation to do which included both bathrooms, kitchen and all flooring. We had never done major renovations before so were really nervous about going ahead with it on our own and Diane was recommended to us. She was a delight to work with and soon understood who we were and what we were wanting to accomplish. Diane made us feel comfortable and helped us make our decisions on everything. Her excitement for our new kitchen was contagious and my fear soon turned to join her with the excitement. Diane was very up to date with the trends of today and informed me in a very gentle way that something that I was thinking of was from the 80’s and that I should maybe rethink that area. So glad she was bold enough to redirect me. We had picked a backsplash that was ok but not a wow look and Diane was able to come in one day with a new sample that gave us the wow we were wanting. I really appreciated her guiding us in the right direction. Diane was great at communicating every step of our renovations and everything came in on time. We also did not feel pressure from her to make any decisions, we were in the drivers seat at all times.
As we have finished our home I feel that I have a new friend in Diane and I would highly recommend Diane as a designer.
