These clients are busy professionals, and parents of a busy family of five. Right from the start they requested bringing some pattern and fun into the designs. The new kitchen cabinetry and layout significantly improved the functionality over the previous design. We chose a crisp white and navy palette with warm wood accents, and kicked up the impact with a custom tile backsplash. The family room, front foyer/stairway, mud/laundry room and guest bathroom all got updates. Extra wide glass sliders and a coffered ceiling detail were added to the family room. The colour palette was kept consistent throughout the main floor, and more pattern was introduced into the custom carpeting for the front stairway, and the mud/laundry/bathroom flooring.
