PROJECT: Kitsilano Condo Living Room

The living/dining room in this condo needed an update. A light palette was chosen to bring a soft, open, feminine feel to the space. The carpeting was replaced, and the walls throughout were graced with Farrow & Ball paint.

The texture of this paint is absolutely sumptuous and adds rich tactility to the main living area and the front entrance hall. The beautiful sofa and modern teak chair were given a fresh start with new upholstery.

A previous black stain finish on the chair was removed, and the chair was returned to the original teak finish. The client’s much-loved stressless chair was swapped out for another style and lighter colour leather.

Custom dining chairs were scaled to the space and its petite owner. New lighting fixtures were brought in throughout. The “twig” table lamp beside the sofa was an immediate crush, and loved more for mirroring the shape of the legs of the African giraffe sculpture on the other side of the room. The client kept her existing art work and the desk/entertainment cabinetry.
