These clients wanted to update the main floor of their home, keeping their beautiful drapes and the existing hardwood flooring in the living room/dining room. We kept a transitional style throughout, but freshened up the kitchen, furnishings, fireplace, lighting, as well as updating the flooring in the foyer/hallway and kitchen.

The proportions between the living room and dining room were awkward and needed to be adjusted. The existing structural beam in the dining room was widened, and columns added at both ends, to allow us to balance the living room fireplace wall. The dining room was framed with this structure, and defined with a statement wall colour and panelling detail.
